অবিশ্বাসীরা কি দেখে না যে, আকাশ আর যমীন এক সঙ্গে সংযুক্ত ছিল, অতঃপর আমি উভয়কে আলাদা করে দিলাম, আর প্রাণসম্পন্ন সব কিছু পানি থেকে সৃষ্টি করলাম। তবুও কি তারা ঈমান আনবে না?
আর পৃথিবীতে আমি স্থাপন করেছি সুদৃঢ় পর্বত যাতে পৃথিবী তাদেরকে নিয়ে নড়াচড়া না করে। আর তাতে সৃষ্টি করেছি প্রশস্ত পথ যাতে তারা পথ পেতে পারে।
আর আমি আকাশকে করেছি সুরক্ষিত ছাদ, কিন্তু এ সবের নিদর্শন থেকে তারা মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয়।
তিনিই সৃষ্টি করেছেন রাত ও দিন, সূর্য আর চন্দ্র, প্রত্যেকেই তার চক্রাকার পথে সাঁতার কাটছে।

English
Have those who disbelieved not considered that the heavens and the earth were a joined entity, and We separated them and made from water every living thing? Then will they not believe?
And We placed within the earth firmly set mountains, lest it should shift with them, and We made therein [mountain] passes [as] roads that they might be guided.
And We made the sky a protected ceiling, but they, from its signs, are turning away.
And it is He who created the night and the day and the sun and the moon; all [heavenly bodies] in an orbit are swimming.
