The London edition of the Hyrox World Series of Fitness Racing competition was held successfully recently. Fuad Shamsul Alamin represented Bangladesh as the country's sole competitor in this event.
Fuad competed in the individual 8-kilometre race category and achieved a remarkable result. At the end of every kilometre, competitors are required to complete a different set of exercises. In this process, participants have to perform exercises eight times to complete the 8-kilometre race. First-time participants in this race usually take around 2 hours and 30 minutes to finish.
However, Bangladesh's Fuad completed the race and all exercises for the first time in just 1 hour and 58 minutes, establishing himself as a fast finisher. He thus achieved the distinction of becoming the fastest Bangladeshi to complete an individual Hyrox event.
The organising body, London Hyrox, congratulated Fuad and awarded him a certificate of recognition.
