Elon Musk’s satellite internet company Startlink will power the inauguration ceremony of the ‘Bangladesh Investment Summit 2025’ to be held in the capital on April 9.

This was disclosed by Ashik Chowdhury, executive chairman of the Bangladesh Investment Development Authorit, at a press conference at the Foreign Service Academy on Sunday.

It will be a test launching of Starlink service in the country, added the BIDA executive chairman highlighting the major features of the investment summit between March 7 and March 10.

Chief adviser Muhamamd Yunus will open the inauguration ceremony to be participated by more than 500 foreign investors, half of them are Chinese and are Indians, Japanese, Americans and British, said the BIDA chief executive.
