Law Adviser Asif Nazrul said that by witnessing the spirit and determination of December 16, Bangladesh was able to seize an opportunity to rebuild itself through the July mass uprising.
"It feels good to be here. My heart is filled with gratitude, respect and love for the martyred freedom fighters and the injured freedom fighters, who liberated Bangladesh through various sacrifices," he said.
The adviser made the remarks while talking to reporters after paying homage at the Shaheed Altar of the National Memorial in Savar around 7:45am on the occasion of the Victory Day.
