আমি নূহকে তার কাওমের কাছে পাঠিয়েছিলাম। (সে বলেছিল) আমি তোমাদের জন্য একজন স্পষ্ট সতর্ককারী,
আর ‘আদ জাতির নিকট তাদের ভাই হূদকে পাঠিয়েছিলাম। সে বলেছিল, ‘হে আমার সম্প্রদায়! তোমরা আল্লাহর ‘ইবাদাত কর, তিনি ছাড়া তোমাদের আর কোন ইলাহ নেই। তোমরা তো শুধু মিথ্যে বানিয়ে নিয়েছ।
আমি সামূদ জাতির কাছে তাদের ভাই সালিহকে পাঠিয়েছিলাম। সে বলল, ‘হে আমার সম্প্রদায়! তোমরা আল্লাহর ‘ইবাদাত কর, তিনি ছাড়া তোমাদের আর কোন ইলাহ নেই, তিনিই তোমাদেরকে মাটি থেকে পয়দা করেছেন, আর তাতেই তোমাদেরকে প্রতিষ্ঠিত করেছেন, কাজেই তাঁর কাছে তোমরা ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা কর, আর তাঁর পানেই ফিরে এসো, আমার প্রতিপালক তো অতি নিকটে, আর তিনি আহবানে সাড়াদানকারী।’
আর মাদইয়ানবাসীদের কাছে আমি তাদের ভাই শু‘আয়বকে পাঠিয়েছিলাম। সে বলেছিল, ‘হে আমার সম্প্রদায়! তোমরা আল্লাহর ‘ইবাদাত কর, তিনি ছাড়া তোমাদের কোন সত্য ইলাহ নেই, আর মাপে ও ওজনে কম দিও না, আমি তোমাদেরকে ভাল অবস্থাতেই দেখছি। কিন্তু আমি তোমাদের জন্য শাস্তির আশঙ্কা করছি সে দিনের যেদিন তোমাদেরকে চতুর্দিক থেকে ঘিরে ধরবে।
আমি মূসাকে পাঠিয়েছিলাম আমার নিদর্শন আর স্পষ্ট প্রমাণ সহকারে
আমি তাদের উপর যুলম করিনি বরং তারাই নিজেদের উপর যুলম করেছিল, কিন্তু তোমার প্রতিপালকের হুকুম যখন এসে গেল, তখন আল্লাহকে বাদ দিয়ে তারা যেসব ইলাহকে ডাকত ওগুলো তাদের কোনই কাজে আসল না, তারা ধ্বংস ছাড়া কিছুই বৃদ্ধি করতে পারল না।

English
And We had certainly sent Noah to his people, [saying], "Indeed, I am to you a clear warner
And to 'Aad [We sent] their brother Hud. He said, "O my people, worship Allah; you have no deity other than Him. You are not but inventors [of falsehood].
And to Thamud [We sent] their brother Salih. He said, "O my people, worship Allah; you have no deity other than Him. He has produced you from the earth and settled you in it, so ask forgiveness of Him and then repent to Him. Indeed, my Lord is near and responsive."
And to Madyan [We sent] their brother Shu'ayb. He said, "O my people, worship Allah; you have no deity other than Him. And do not decrease from the measure and the scale. Indeed, I see you in prosperity, but indeed, I fear for you the punishment of an all-encompassing Day.
And We did certainly send Moses with Our signs and a clear authority
And We did not wrong them, but they wronged themselves. And they were not availed at all by their gods which they invoked other than Allah when there came the command of your Lord. And they did not increase them in other than ruin.
