HAISON International, in collaboration with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) ITPO Tokyo, is set to organise a business mission from Bangladesh to Japan at the end of April 2025.
A three-member coordinating team is currently in Tokyo to finalise the programme details in consultation with UNIDO ITPO Tokyo, reports UNB.
The team will hold discussions with relevant organisations, including the Bangladesh Embassy in Tokyo, to ensure the programme's success.
This will mark the eighth such programme for Bangladeshi businesses since 2017.
Initially scheduled for December 2024, the programme was postponed to next year due to the prevailing local circumstances.
It is expected that the Bangladeshi companies who have a solid business background and who are already doing some business with Japanese companies will be selected to participate in the programme.
Priorities will be given to companies in non-traditional sectors that have good prospects for cooperation with Japanese firms.
