Veteran actress Mirana Zaman and seasoned actress Dolly Zohur has come together after a long time in a Liberation War based tele-drama titled ‘Babar Binocular’. The drama has been scripted by eminent actor-playwright-director Mamunur Rashid and produced by Mahbuba Ferdous. The tele-drama has been made for telecasting on Bangladesh Television (BTV) to celebrate the Victory Day and will be telecast tomorrow after the 8pm news bulletin. DhakaLive has news that Mirana Zaman and Dolly Zohur have enacted the characters of mother-in-law and daughter-in law respectively, while Mamunur Rashid has played the character of Mirana Zaman's son. Among others, Shah Alam Dulal, Azad Abul Kalam and Pran Roy will be seen playing different roles.
Mirana Zaman said about the tele-drama, “The story of this drama is based on Liberation War. Here, Mamunur Rashid plays the character of my son and Dolly Zohur is my daughter-in law. I have nothing to comment on Mamunur Rashid’s script as he is a good actor and talented playwright. I have acted after a long time in a play written by him. Moreover, I am very pleased to meet Mamunur Rashid, Dolly Zohur, Shah Alam Dulal, Azad Abul Kalam and Pran Roy.”
Dolly Zohur said, “Mirana Zaman is one of the respected artistes among us. From the beginning of my career, I have worked with her in many projects and she adores me a lot. I love and respect her very much. To tell you the truth, artiste like Mirana Zaman will not born again as she possesses an amazing humane personality.”
To note, Mirana Zaman and Dolly Zohur acted together last time in a drama serial titled ‘Uttar-Dakkhin’ scripted by Abul Hayat, which telecasted on BTV.
